  • MREA State Board Meeting Dates will be on the last or first meeting each year, Meeting every other month on Tuesday or Thursday.
  • MREA Biannual State Convention will be held in Anaconda, September 29-30, 2025, at The Forge. 
  • October: National Principals Month
  • Nov. 2025, MREA Board Meeting Nov., AARP Volunteer of the year is selected

MREA Membership year extends from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

If you join and renew through your unit, your renewal date will be June 31, and your yearly dues will be paid to your unit treasure by check. You can also renew by filling out the online MREA renewal form on the website renewal page.

    This day has been observed on the second Thursday each March since 2014, when Gov. Steve Bullock recognized the contribution of retired educators to the state. During the legislative year, the event is celebrated in Helena at the capital and is called MREA Legislative Lobbying Day.
